Performance Plan Activities

  • Meet with elders, and other ministers a minimum of twice a month to maintain a strong line of communication.
  • Create and execute a “travel document” system (medical forms, parent permission form, etc.) to protect the youth group members and to provide a legal shield for the church.
  • Maintain youth annex in a neat and orderly fashion and communicate any maintenance problems to appropriate point of contact as designated by elders. Ensure facility is locked and secured when not in use.
  • Arrange for people to cover youth minister duties during planned absences.
  • Conduct visitation, fellowshipping, and counseling with any member of the congregation. At a minimum, visit each teen family home at least once per year.
  • Maintain publicized office hours. Schedule is to be negotiated, minimum of 5 days per week. A basic work week consisting of 40 hours is assumed of which approximately 20 office hours will be posted and maintained. It is recognized that church family emergencies/activities may alter this schedule occasionally.
  • Meet weekly with other ministers to facilitate communication and to plan and execute the goals of each and the overall goals of the church.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the elders of the church.
